WARRANTY

Your ride is always safe and sound with Multijoy electric bikes.

We believe in making sure you get the most out of your investment, which is why we offer a 1-year warranty on electrical and mechanical components such as the  frame and 6 months warranty for battery.

Warranty Period

Our optional manufacturer's warranty for electrical and mechanical components is limited to 1 years from the date of e-bike purchase. It is only available to the first purchaser and requires prior registration of the e-bike on www.Multijoy.com. The warranty period begins when the first purchaser receives the order.

A warranty transfer is only eligible if the original owner’s name, initial order number, and the warranty period have not expired.

Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not include damage caused by misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear. If you use your product for purposes other than its intended use, then it will most likely break and we will not honor that claim.

1.Frame

Multijoy E-bikes frames are covered by a 1-year replacement warranty.

This warranty covers only the replacement of the frame, not labor charges to change over parts to new frames. Such labor must be done by an authorized mechanic only.

Multijoy reserves the right to use scratch and dent stocks when replacing a frame under this warranty. Frame styles and/or colors not in stock may be replaced with a compatible style and/or color at the discretion of Multijoy.

Frame issues that are excluded from this warranty include but are not limited to:

  • Corrosion
  • Paint fade, scratches, impact marks
  • Impact damage
  • Non-reversible modification (drilling/welding)
  • Chain guard mount to the frame, if applicable

2.Batteries

Multijoy batteries come with a 6-month warranty.

During the 6 months of service, we will replace the batteries free of charge if there is a manufacturing defect. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged based on the original purchase date.

After the first 6 months of service – A prorated credit, based on months of service, will be applied toward the purchase of a new battery. Batteries purchased at a prorated cost will have a new 6-month warranty based on the purchase date.

NOTE: No cash reimbursement will be issued. We have the right to determine what's defective, what isn't, and what may have been abused.

3.Parts & Components

Original Multijoy parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. This limited warranty does not cover:

Ordinary wear and tear not the result of defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear can be assessed by Multijoy. Parts not typically covered include but are not limited to:

  • Wear and tear - these include but are not limited to: brakes, brake pads, cassette, chains, chain rings, controller, crankset, derailleur, forks, freewheel, handlebar, hardware seat post, kickstand lights, LCD display pedals, motor, reflectors, rims saddle, shifter, spokes, tires/tubes, throttle, wiring harness, and wheel hub kickstand.  You have one week to return any faulty goods for repair. After seven days, we will charge you for parts and labor.
  • Parts affected by corrosion due to exposure to moisture and heat, etc.
  • Damage or deterioration of the surface finish, appearance, or aesthetics of the product.
  • Labor charges for part replacement or changeover.
  • Defects or damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the product), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
  • Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Multijoy.
  • Product that has the serial number or the bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible.
  • Defects or damage to the products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Multijoy.
  • Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner not in accordance with the Assembly Instructions & Owners Manual.
  • Defects caused by external causes like collisions, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake exposure to weather conditions, theft or improper use of any electrical source.

FAULTS: Faults must be reported as soon as possible by emailing support@Multijoy.com. We will assess the issue and try to fix it, saving you time by not requiring you to send the product back to us. If it is a minor fault, we will send out a replacement part that you can fit yourself with our guidance. 

CONDITIONS: Once you receive your order, inspect it thoroughly to ensure that no loose nuts or bolts have fallen out during shipment. For long-term durability, take a moment to inspect your new e-bike for any defects before your very first ride. We recommend that you ride your e-bike with appropriate safety equipment, such as helmets. For the warranty to be valid, the products must be used responsibly. Ride with caution for your own and the public's safety.

DISCLAIMER STATEMENT: We will not accept liability for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties at the time the contract was formed, as well as losses that were not caused by any breach on our part. We will not accept liability for any use of a product that does not comply with current legislation in your region or jurisdiction. By purchasing our products, you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions set out. Nothing in these terms will limit your statutory rights to cancel, return, or exchange goods that are faulty or misdescribed.

CLAIMS PROCESS

1.Warranty Claims

Prior to submitting your warranty claim, we strongly advise that you contact us at support@Multijoy.com as we may be able to find an easy fix to your issue. You will need to have proof of purchase, photos or videos of the defect for a warranty request when submitting a claim. Valid warranty claims will be processed through Multijoy within 1 years of purchase.

Multijoy will not replace any part without seeing photos or videos of the damaged product. Please attach the necessary evidence via email.

2. Shipping damage claims

The product received may be damaged during shipping on rare occasions. If this applies to you, please email support@Multijoy.com with photographic proof of the damage. 

NOTE: We will not accept shipping damage claims more than 7 days after the order is received.

REPAIR SERVICE

Multijoy will only provide free replacement parts for offline bicycle store repair services such as Velotooler. We do not reimburse any labor costs incurred during the repair service.
